New Canon S30, S40 and S45 Digital Camera Lens/Filter adapter - $49

This adapter is made of 6061 aluminum and has 37mm threads for adding lenses and filters.  It allows you to open the battery/memory door while the adapter is attached. The tripod adapter also has a female thread so this can be attached to any tripod.  The part that connects to the camera is made of Delrin plastic to eliminate scratching of the camera body..

We have been asked by some customers to make these in silver to match the camera.   Although this can be done, silver does reflect and there is a much greater chance of reflective light entering into the picture.  We make this item so it is more functional.

We recommend turning the camera on first - then place the adapter over the lens and tighten the tripod screw to the camera.   Then - you can keep this on all day if you like.  You can turn the camera on and off with the adapter on - it leaves plenty of room for the on/off click of the lens door.
